Last week, I trotted off to Peaches and Lime in Stillorgan to review the salon. Once again, ever the beauty gilly, I was happy to sign myself up for a facial in order to share it with you all. Yes, I am a martyr, I know.
Upon entering the pretty salon, I was greeted by Erica, the owner. She was very welcoming and we had a brief chat before heading into the beauty room. The room smelled fantastic and I couldn’t have undressed and hopped onto the heated bed any quicker.
Erica then came back in to begin my personal consultation. She was very thorough, in order to see what type of facial would be best for me. It was decided that the Ógra Organic Skincare facial would be my treatment, I started to hear words like peat, zinc and copper, and I thought ‘’Bloody hell, I am in Bord Na Mona’’…!
Ógra is the first 100% Organic Irish peat skincare range, it contains 200 organic ingredients including zinc, copper, iron and selenium. Humic & Fulvic acids aids as super anti – oxidants to help reduce the signs of premature aging. The essential oils, fatty acids, lipoids in the peat penetrate into the skin to re-establish the natural PH balance. It is deeply nourishing, moisturises and improves the skins elasticity.
The facial itself was thoroughly enjoyable as Erica is a trained masseuse, in sports massage too, and she literally ironed out every ache I had been feeling from my gym sessions. I am pretty sure I feel asleep at one stage as I did one of the crazy body jerks mid-massage, that’s how relaxed I was!
My skin has been looking really good since, my makeup is gliding on easier too. My big crater pores are much smaller so I am a happy kitten. I left Peaches and Lime feeling refreshed and thinking ‘’I need to go rob some peat or Erica…’’ Either or!! *
This facial would be excellent for anyone of any age, with any type of skin as it will be specific to you after your consultation with Erica. It would also be great for a bride who wants to up her skin game on the run up to her wedding.
